This year, our curriculum will focus on basic drawing and painting techniques. We will explore various mediums, including watercolor, oil painting, pastel, ink drawing, printmaking, clay, and more. We’ll cover essential concepts such as perspective, color balance, shading, contrast, light and shadow, composition, human proportions, etc. This is a new location, so our goal is to learn the core, with a more classical approach for this semester. To get a better understanding of art, combining different techniques and mediums, learning to work with all kinds of materials, and most importantly to open up through art and feel it’s language.
