Regina Viadro: recommends Art Studio 5005.
Our two kids ages 5 and 8 attend Art Studio 5005 art classes in Fair Lawn throughout the year. It has been undoubtedly their favorite day of the week, as they get to experiment, create and interact with art without pressure and boundaries. My 8 year old also attended the summer camp this summer. Initially, I only wanted to send him for one week because I didn’t think that our super active boy would be happy at an art camp for more than that, and was very surprised just how happy he was there during his first week. I ended up sending him for 3 more weeks, and he loved every minute. Borya, Lena and Dasha are special people that know how to make kids curious about art and build interest to experiment with their ideas and visions, and also, they promote kindness and openness, leading by example. It’s a unique environment for kids, and I am so glad my kids are able to take advantage of what Studio 5005 has to offer.

Borya and Lena are a whole world. Their lessons are well organized, using a huge variety of tools and materials for painting, graphics and modeling. They are sensitive teachers with wonderful taste, who know how to reveal the creators in children. The result is amazing works in different genres. But lessons with Borya and Lena are more than just fine art lessons: few people understand children so subtly, treat their inner world with such respect, and know how to create such an atmosphere in classes that reveals all the best in children. Next to Borya and Lena, children become better and more interesting. And adults too!

It was our pilot week in an art summer camp. Actually, my son doesn’t like summer camps at all. And the first morning before our first day in an art camp was a nightmare. Son created hundreds reasons why he need to stay home. On the next morning he was worrying that we were coming later. Thank you Borya, Lena and Dasha for thousands different activities, interesting projects and for a new vision of everyday things.
Alya Svecharnik :
Wonderful experience for kids, warm and inspiring atmosphere in the classroom, well structured lessons, nice progression of various techniques, as professional and loving approach from instructors as can be in children’s art studio… The best memories for kids!
Olga Ilyashenko :
Strongly recommend this studio. Boris and Elena are great teachers. Your child will benefit from classes not only by learning to draw or model with clay but also represent the inner self through his/her work. Kuznetsovs never impose their vision on a child but tactfully help him/her to comprehend the subject and recreate it. After only few lessons our son had shown greater interest in drawing portraits and landscapes with such a impressive skill! We are very thankful!

My 7.5 year old daughter Liza has been going to Kuznetsov art camp for the 2nd summer this year. It is one of her favorite activities and a wonderful way to mix Russian culture, art, childhood games and unstructured time together. Borya and Lena have very diverse art projects for the children, but there is also a lot of socialization and playing involved, lots of time outside. Highly recommend.
Victoria Segal :
Elena and Boris fully involve children in the artistic process, provide an emotional lift, develop a sense of space and form. Anyone can draw 🙂 an interesting methodology, a soulful atmosphere, different techniques and materials. We are very glad that there are such teachers!
Art camp is something extraordinary! We are here for the first time this year and I was very worried that my very active and completely restless son, who is not interested in drawing, and modeling will be uncomfortable. How wrong I was! Thanks for everything! Lena and Borya captivated my boy so much that, being usually poor in stories about the past day, he, jumping and spitting with delight, constantly talks about the camp! In addition to various forms of applied art, the American boy flaunts the rules of Russian games of our childhood, many of which we, his parents who grew up in the Soviet Union, have not even heard of! And how they feed there! My son would ask for a third portion of soup, but unfortunately, the contents of even a huge backet eventually come to an end. The camp is super! Thank you very much for everything!

Great art lessons for kids. The only lesson my kids want to go to!
Прекрасные уроки творчества для детей. Единственный урок на который мои дети сами хотят идти!
Anne Olderog :
An incredibly warm and creative place. Kids feel at home, and are stretched creatively in ways they could never imagine.
